8am rant.

The thing that pisses me off is the fact that our troops are taking so much shit for killing "innocent civilians" when these are the people that are beheading our troops and the people Americans hired to help out their shitty country. I wish that the Iraqis would follow rules in war. I wish we didn't.

I don't even know why I have all this anger built up inside of me for this kind of stuff. Maybe its the fact that my only friend down here's husband just left for Iraq.. maybe it's because I know Mike is headed that way soon.. All of his friends are over there in Afghanistan, a few already dead.

I wonder why we handed over power two days early? Is that supposed to stop the killing there quicker, because it's not, Mr. Bush. And guess who wants to reinstate the draft if he wins election this year? Bush.

I'm sure no one is really listening to this. But, thats okay. I write for my own amusement.

Played two rounds of disc golf last night and met this one cool guy from the Charlotte disc golf association... and damnit, he was good. I was too busy hitting trees and stuff, but I'm getting a lot better so I don't mind. ;)

So quite a bit has been going on, I suppose. The *good* news. Well, not sure it it'll be good yet.

But as some as you know, Mike is supposed to leave for Afghanistan May 10th. Right now, he's at the doctors and will be going through a sleep aid. Maybe I'll find out more information about that on Monday. Well, the whole deal with that is, he gets bad, violent dreams about Kosovo. That place really fucked his head up and they don't think its right to send him to Afghanistan. It's mandatory before you get on the plane or on ship to get malaria shots before going there and that shot causes psycho dreams, something the doctors know Mike doesn't need. Guys, please pray for me that Mike doesn't have to go over there. PLEASE. This would make me the happiest person in the world if he wouldn't go. :(

So Mike's coming down this weekend. I don't know if he's leaving on Monday for Afghanistan or not. He can't tell me certain details over the phone so it'll be known soon. :)

I'm getting rid of the puppy. He's annoying and he's pissing and shitting all over the floor. He's cute but not that cute. It's like I'm grounded. I get like 2 hours of sleep a night.. have to deal with his whiney ass.. :\ Ugh.

Ahh, almost time for my lazy procrastinating ass to pack. Luckily, everything big is in storage with other misc. things we didn't need here. One more day and I can cuddle up with Ville & Nikki. Oo, I am SO excited.

Yesterday, I met up with Quinten (a guy from My Space) and we went shopping at one of the stupidest malls alive around here. But, I got a little 2" Christmas tree and some purple lights, to go on a silver tree that I have. I went into KB Toys and asked this one guy if he knew where little green army men were. He just kept smiling at me and in this weird, low voice he was like, "Yeah, sure.. we have them over here.." He kept touching the bag, wanting me to buy more than the 2 that I had in my hand. It was creepy. I wish I could record my voice on here to show you all what this guy sounded like. Crazy old people...

So yeah, I got home last night and decorated the tree with clear lights and dead green army men, hanging by string. Yeah, it's a great looking tree. Now if only I could find the fuckin' tan army men then I'd be happy. But no.

One last thing.. if poeticaftermath wants to write little cryptic messages about me in her journal, go ahead. If I pissed you off that badly as to where you have to write a whole entry on me, then fine. Maybe this whole thing was a misunderstanding, but the way I see it, since you didn't give me full details, you were looking for a pity party.. and you won't be getting that from me.

I will give you all the address, as if you'd write me, when I move. I have the address but there's no point in sharing it now because I'm not there. Drr. As some as you know, my kitties are in Delaware, with my husbands parents. :/ I found out that Nikki, the older one, is warming up a little too much to Mike's stepmom and Ville, the kitten, is shying away from everyone.
